Spray Bottle

Does it make me a bad mommy that I find joy in watching Kayden spray him self with a spray bottle filled with water? It makes me feel better that he thinks it is funny too. He is now soaked :)

Our New Toy

So Shawn got his new toy tonight !!! it is pretty fun, We played Guitar Hero tonight together after Kayden went to bed. I need LOTS of practice. I am glad we got it. It will be fun to play. For your viewing enjoyment here is a pic of Shawn playing

I cant sleep so here I am

So here it is midnight and I cant sleep. My mind is just racing with so many different thoughts. Shawn and I decided tonight, Or should I say Shawn told me that he thought it would be in all parties involved best interest that I go to move with my parents while he is in Korea. No don't get the idea that he tells me what to do but in the one choice this is really what I needed him to do. It will be good for lots of reason.
1. We can get most or I should say all our CC debit paid off and I hope to keep it that way. At our next station we should over have our cars as bills that follow us. It will be nice.
2. Should I get sick like I have been the past two weeks there is someone to take care of me and or Kayden
3. Shawn will have the piece of mind knowing I am not trying to make it on my own and maybe struggling and not asking for help.
4. I plan on taking little trips with Kayden, Some to places around the springs, two to see two different friends(holly and vett) and one to take Kayden to see his other set of grandparents.
5.Well I could go on and on about it.
While I am down there I plan on joining a mommy group, I have looked and there is tons in the area. I hope they are a good and active group. What ever one I find. I am also wanting to put Kayden in preschool and look for a part time job while he is there. We could not afford for that to happen if I stayed in Vegas. I really think it will be good for all of us in the long run. It will be hard to adjust living with my parents again, I know it will be hard for them to have a 27 and 2 year old in there house. We will all adjust and make the best of it. I am really going to be thankful for it if we get orders over seas. Sorry mom you are reading this on my blog. I am expecting a call when you read it. :)

Other news in the Pritchard house. Lets see - I have been SICK, I mean really sick, I am starting to feel better so that is a good thing but it seems as Kayden is now coming down with something again.. I am hoping not but we will see.
Shawn is almost done with the class he is taking, He is happy about that and has done wonderful in the class, I don't know if he is gonna try to take a couple more before he leaves.
I broke down and let him by a playstation3 the other day. He has wanted one for a while and sometimes I like to be a nice wife and let him splurge. I told him it is his Christmas present for this next year that because I wont send something like that over seas he can get it now. We got me Guitar hero for it, I cant wait to play.


Kayden and I went to a really neat indoor play place with play group on Tuesday, He had a blast

Dont quite know how he got in that position, I think it is quite funny.

Other that things have been boring and low key as I try to get better. Hope everyone is doing well.

My sneaky little monkey

Opps I almost forgot. My Wonderful Sweet Son learned something this weekend. We are sitting around and he finds my purse. In my purse there are fruit snacks. I pulls them out and says please and hands them to me. I tell him "no" That he has already had some and that we are getting ready to leave. He gets mad and throws them on the couch and decides that he is done with me because I am not going to give him what he wants. He grabs the snacks and walks over to his dad and says please and hands then to his father who says "OK" and starts to open the bag of them. I looked at Shawn almost dumbfounded and asked him why he was gonna give them to him after I had just told him no. Shawn was not listen when I had said no. Go figure . So my sweet son has learned how to pull on over on his daddy to get what he wants. We have really got our work cut out for us.

Updating

So I want to introduce you all to the tickle monster.
His favorite person to tickle is his daddy and he loves to wear Jammys and snow boats.
Watch out for him cause his attacks are sudden and come with out notice.

He will run up to Shawn going ickle ickle ickle and then proceed to tickle Shawn. Then Shawn has to do it back to him. It is very cute. I am gonna miss it. Oh and this is his red chair I got for him. Most days it is not where it is supposed to go or used for sitting but as climbing.

So lets see here it has been a while since I have updated, Last thing I said is that we got some very exciting news. Our news is that Shawn is going to Korea for a year. Yes we are VERY excited about this. We want out of Vegas and this is our one way we know we will get out. He leave sometime in early Nov we don't have a for sure date yet. I will keep everyone updated on it. We found that out on Wednesday and Shawn has been on cloud nine ever since.

On Thursday Shawn test for tech for the 3rd time. I hope he makes it. We should find out in August if he does. Also on Thursday we took Kayden to see Doodlebops Live. He loved it. We loved it. I will take him next year when they come back to Vegas. He was sort of not in to at first but after his favorite song he started dancing and screaming. Had a blast.

I love this picture but wish Kayden would of looked at me. There was so many different light sticks that he would not look at me he wanted to look at them. Those darn things cost 20 bucks. I don't know how we afford to go to those shows they are so darn expansive. The light stick and dinner and snacks and just the seats alone. But he loves it and has a blast so to me it is worth it. He is only young once.

We also learned while that that he can say op orn, in english it means Popcorn. I know they say we should not feed it to him yet but he loves it.

We or should I say I have found a new love for Japanese cooking. The kind of places that cook all your food right in front of you. I wanted to go out to one on Thursday night before the show, the one we go to most was on the other side of town so that was out of the question. I looked online and found a new place that looked good. We decided to try it. Yeah we did not even end up eating there and Shawn took me Friday night out to our favorite place. I love it there. We have been 3 times in under a month. I want to go there for my birthday at the end of this month.

So the races where in Vegas this weekend. Nascar fans invade our city for about 5 days. It is crazy, Even crazier cause the race track is right by the base, We had to get some groceries on Saturday Yeah that was fun. Also on Saturday night Shawn was ever so sweet to watch Kayden and the next door neighbors two boys so that she and I could go see Blake Shelton Live down on Fremont street. Best thing is it was free. We had a blast and she got pretty drunk. I was the driver so I did not drink. But I did get her 3 free drinks and she got to dance with 2 guys cause I would not keep my mouth shut. I would love to do it again but don't want to make Shawn watch all 3 boys again, I like it when he goes with us.

Today we just had a lazy day, I cooked most of the day, Made some really kick ass bread and some really nasty cheesecake. Did laundry and played with Kayden. Tomorrow a new week starts and we should have a pretty good week. Lots of fun stuff to do with play group.
